President-elect Donald Trump, even before his swearing-in, has shown his leadership through the ceasefire deal and hostage release underway in Israel, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis said on Newsmax Sunday.
“This is clearly President Trump showing strength,” the New York Republican told Newsmax’s “Sunday Report.” “They understand that peace through strength is coming back and the man who brokered the Abraham Accords and brought peace to the Middle East will once again work to restore it. This ceasefire would not happen if it were not for his leadership.”
She noted that Trump appointed Steve Witkoff as his envoy to the Middle East immediately after he was elected, leading to the negotiations that brought the agreement.
